Preparing to submit and abstract

 

  1. The abstract proposal must be written in Spanish and English using Microsoft Word, font Times New Roman size 11, single line spacing, and justified text.
  2. Follow the template included below: be sure to follow the stablished model and complete all the information required.
  3. Do not use abbreviations (with the exception of statistical symbols). Abbreviations are only permitted only after that the complete sentence was used the first time appears (e.g., Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, OCD)    
  4. Do not include citations, unless absolutely necessary.
  5. Write the Abstract specifying the usual headings: Introduction, Aims, Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusions.
  6. The maximum length is 250 words (both in English and Spanish).
  7. Use a separate file for each of the posters to be submitted. Each file should be clearly identified as follows: First author's last name_poster.docx (e.g., Castro_poster.docx). If the same author submits more than one poster, add a number (e.g., Castro_poster1.docx; Castro_poster2.docx, etc.). 
  8. Once accepted for its presentation at the congress, being on site or online, they must be sent to AEPCP (aepcp@aepcp.net) as PDF (see down below the deadlines). 
  9. All the accepted posters will be avaliable (as PDF) in a specific section of the virtual classroom of the congress for consultation by all attendees. Both authors and attendees, being online or at the congress, will have a specific chat   for consultation or discussion throughout congress. 
  10. Poster size for presentation (on site) at the Congress: 80 cm wide x 100 cm high (vertical format).

DEADLINES

  1. All proposals should be sent by e-mail to the AEPCP address (aepcp@aepcp.net) indicating in the subject “Poster to the XII Congress”
  2. The deadline for submission of proposals is May 30, 2022.
  3. The Scientific Committee will respond on the provisional acceptance of the poster proposal within 15 days of its submission. 
  4. The final acceptance of the poster will be sent to the responsible author once at least 50% of the poster’ authors have registered for the Congress, which must necessarily include the person responsible for the presentation and defense of the poster at the Congress.
  5. The deadline for registration and, therefore, for the poster abstract to be included in the Congress proceedings book is June 30th
  6. The deadline to submit the final poster in PDF format so that it can be included in the virtual classroom, is July 30 (submit to aepcp@aepcp.net)
  7. The certificates of presentation of the poster will only be extended for those who have registered in the congress and they will be sent by email once it is finished. 
  8. The chairpersons of each of the three poster sessions will evaluate each of the posters presented and will decide which of them deserves to receive the prize for the best poster of the Congress, as well as the two additional runners-up prizes (one for each session, excluding the session in which the best poster of the Congress was presented). The winning posters will be announced at the closing ceremony and will receive a specific accreditation diploma stating the prize received.
